Château Beaumont is a well regarded estate known for producing reliable, high quality claret that consistently over delivers on value and typicity. It is owned by a group of investors led by AXA Millésimes, ensuring strong stewardship and long term investment in the property. The estate is located in the Haut-Médoc, positioned between the communes of Saint-Julien and Moulis-en-Médoc. Its vineyards benefit from a favourable gravel rich terroir, ideally suited to classic Bordeaux grape varieties.

This is a highly regarded Château under the same ownership as Château Beychevelle. Located on the left bank of the Gironde, between the communes of Margaux and Saint-Julien, Château Beaumont draws its finesse and its delicacy from the deep gravels of the best soils of the Haut-Médoc

Tasting Notes

Bright, precise and layered with sweet black fruits, restrained tannins and a touch of earthiness and graphite. Cherry, mulled raspberry and a touch of vanilla spice from the 30% new oak. The core is well structured, polished and shows good weight and texture. Long on the finish, this is another very impressive Beaumont!

Vinification

Harvest 3rd - 17th September with a yield of 26hl/ha. Aged in 30% new oak barrels. Alc 13%.
